A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo) novel Chapter 132

Sophie's soft body in Benson's arms continuously rubbed against him, causing him to heat up. Her fragrance lingered in the air, captivating and tempting him to lose himself in her embrace.

A subtle tension thickened, turning heavier, and more intoxicating with each passing moment. As if under a spell, Benson's self-control shattered, his eyes darkening. He was helplessly drawn to her, raising his hand to her waist, his arm tightening as he pulled her close. Their bodies pressed together in an intimate posture.

Sophie's lips curved into a faint smile as she guided his hand to remove the thin layer of her outer clothing. Slowly, she led him to explore her body. However, as the moment was about to turn passionate, he abruptly pushed her away.

She let out a startled cry, tumbling onto the couch.

Instinctively, Benson raised his hand to help her but stopped midway. Instead, he grabbed a glass of water from the coffee table and splashed it onto his face.

Sophie, alarmed, quickly rose from the couch and reached for a tissue to wipe his face.

However, he took several steps back. "Don't come near me. I'm scared of hurting you again."

"Benson, I was with you because I wanted to be. You never took advantage of me," she assured him in a soft, delicate voice. Beads of sweat glistened on her fair forehead, and her slightly swollen lips added to the air of intimacy.

Her scent wafted toward him, tempting him to lose himself once more. Benson frowned, raising his hand to halt her approach.

"Stay back."

"Benson..."

Her voice carried a hint of grievance. Her teary eyes held a fragile vulnerability that was utterly heartrending.

"I messed up that day. I hurt you, and I'm so sorry. I don't want to hurt you again or do anything that would betray Cee. Tomorrow, I'll transfer one million dollars to you as compensation. Let's just forget this ever happened."
