Chapter 97 Ending
Siena and Madison exchanged a smile.
Siena’s phone vibrated. She looked down and saw a message on her screen. The smile on her face slowly faded.
“Cre, what’s wrong?” Madison noticed Sierra’s change of expression through the rearview mirror and asked with concem
Pursing her lips, she answered softly, “Benson wants to meet me tonight at Starlight Hotel to settle things between us.”
“Why settle things when you’ve already broken up? You’ve spent so many years of your life on him. He hasn’t even apologized for what he did to you, and now be wants to settle things? It’s just ridiculous!” Madison mocked with a cold tone, and her eyes were filled with anger on Sierra’s behalf.
Sierra’s gaze shifted slightly, and she explained, “It really should be settled. After all, our relationship involves more than just the two of us–It also involves the Shaw and Gray families. Benson has helped me a lot in the past, and Grandpa Edward
She paused for a second, then continued, “Both Grandpa Edward and Uncle Theo have also done me a lot of favor. It we can break up peacefully without hurting the relationship between the two families, it would be the best. That way, my mom won’t be in a dilemma.

Madison furrowed her brows and still felt uneasy. Though she didn’t say anything more, she couldn’t shake the feeling that something didn’t seem right.
Just a few days ago, Benson had threatened that he wouldn’t let Sierra break up with him. Now, he suddenly wanted to “settle things“? It felt a bit too strange, didn’t it?
Hopefully, she was just overthinking, “Cee, if Benson tries anything, call me immediately, and I’ll come over and smash his head,” she said seriously. Sierra chucked and nodded. “Don’t worry, I’ll be fine.”
As evening fell, Sierra arrived outside the Starlight Hotel. She told the hotel usher the room number, and he Immediately guided her to a private room. She took a deep breath and then pushed open the door.
Once inside, she was taken aback because not only was Benson there, but Sophle and a few men who had called her “Benson’s lapdog” on her birthday. She furrowed her brows slightly and walked forward. Looking at the man sitting in the middle of the room, she asked, “Do you need to invite so many people to talk to me?”
Her voice was cold and clear. It was the melting snow on the peaks of a mountain–p
