A Trust-fund Baby novel Chapter 86

“Diana?” Judson showed a smile to Diana.

“Huh? What's the matter?” Diana looked at Judson in puzzle.

“Nothing, I'm just afraid it's all a dream, and then I wake up and it's all gone. And you are not my wife.” Judson said to Diana in worry.

Diana put her arm around Judson and whispered, “What are you thinking? I am your wife. I will not leave you.”

Judson and Diana got the marriage certificate, Sally did not want to disturb them, so she hurried back to cook, leaving Judson and Diana there.

After lunch, Diana asked Judson to the room. After Judson went in, Diana took a bank card out of the drawer and said to Judson, “I have thirty thousand yuan in my card. How much do you have? Judson, we have to save some money to live in the future. I don't want you to buy me nice clothes or a big house, but we have to save some money.”

Judson was in embarrassment. Now Diana said about money, he did not know how to reply to her.

“What's the matter?” Diana asked Judson, feeling something wrong.

Judson took a deep breath and said to Diana, “Diana, there are some things I don't know how to tell you now, but please believe me, I will explain to you in the future.”

Diana nodded without hesitation, “Ok, I believe you.”

Diana agreed so simply, and Judson didn't know what to say. Judson made up his mind he would give Diana a lifetime of glory.

When Judson and Diana were talking in the room, they suddenly heard Dexter’s voice came from the living room. Judson and Diana looked at each other, frowning. They did not expect Dexter would come.

“Judson, let's go out. He is an elder. It is inappropriate we cannot stay in room.” Diana said to Judson.

Judson nodded and then followed Diana out. He was curious. He seemed not to have seen Dexter come here. Dexter, who usually looked down upon Diana and her family, took the initiative to visit them now. It was not Judson regarded him maliciously, but the Shaw family was not good!

After Judson went out, he saw Dexter sitting on the sofa in the living room. When Dexter saw Diana and Judson came out, he said to Diana with a smile, “Diana, how are you doing recently? Your aunt has been talking about you with me for a few days. When you are free, come to my home and ask your aunt to cook food for you.”

Diana smiled awkwardly, “Thank you, Uncle, thanks aunt too. I will certainly visit you when I have time.”

Dexter nodded. He smiled at Judson and said, “Judson, come with Diana. Although you are a live-in son-in-law, we are families.”

Judson nodded without saying anything. Dexter was embarrassed to see that. For a moment the atmosphere was eerie.

Sally felt something wrong, so she changed the subject and said, “Dexter, why did you come to our house today? Anything wrong?”

Dexter said to Sally with a smile, “Sally, Mom is in poor health these days. She has a cold. When she lies in bed, she always talks to me about Freddy, Diana’s father, saying that she is sorry for him. So she asked me to come and transfer his shares in Shaw family to Diana. And the house in the city center will be available for you these days.”

Sally was pleased to hear that and said, “Dexter, really? Is Mom really going to give the shares and the house in the city center to Diana?”
