Caleb even placed his phone right in front of Jeremy and said, "Look. That's Ms. Wardolf, right? And the man beside her is Mr. Denvin Wardolf."
At that moment, the screen happened to show Denvin talking to Melody while a few kids followed after them.
Denvin was nearly 6 feet and 3 inches in height, so Melody had to look up when she talked to him. There was a smile on her face, and there was a soft dimple next to her lips too.
They looked particularly good together.
Jeremy's eyes darkened even further, and his whole body tensed.
However, Caleb couldn't see his expression and continued in fascination, "Regallo Group truly is one of the rare companies that has a conscience. They'd even established the Regallo Charity Foundation previously.
"I'll buy some more of their stocks when I get back to show them my support."
…
The event at the orphanage was very successful.
Even though Denvin didn't do it purely out of the kindness of his heart, he still brought tangible benefits to the orphanage. At least that was significantly more than Andrew had ever done.
Just then, Melody was helping the kids open their presents when she turned to Denvin and said, "Thank you, brother."
She didn't know how to express her gratitude, so she could only say "thank you" over and over again.
However, Denvin wasn't happy about it. He coldly said, "I've told you many times, you're not allowed to call me 'brother.'"
Melody looked up, feeling a little confused. "Then what am I supposed to call you?" Surely, not Mr. Wardolf?
Denvin lowered his not-particularly-friendly gaze. In fact, he even seemed a little annoyed. "You can call me anything other than that."
Melody hesitated for a second, then tried, "Mr. Wardolf?"
Denvin's expression grew darker. "Have you lost your mind?"
"Just Wardolf then?" Melody continued.
