Chloe didn’t bother to argue with Michael and tried her best to play her role well. 

But in the eyes of Admas, they were whispering and caring for each other, which pleased him very much. 

“Chloe, have you taken the medicine I sent you yesterday? Is it potent?” 

Chloe paused. After taking the medicine back, she put it in the corner and forgot about it without taking it at all. 

“Grandpa, she’s only taken it for one day. It won’t make any difference.” 

Michael’s retort shocked Chloe. 

But she quickly realized that this was what he should do. After all, it was because of him that she had been taking medicine for 

so many years. 

He had never spoken for her. However, when she asked for a divorce, he was at a loss and began to advocate for her.

She smiled tenderly, but everyone understood what she meant. 

Victoria glanced at Chloe and muttered that she was shameless, thinking it was really uncultured of her to talk about such things openly. 

Admas beamed with joy and waved at Michael and Chloe. “Okay. Hurry up and be careful on the road!” 

After exiting the manor, Chloe instantly let go of Michael’s hand
