Chloe found herself unable to bear the tension in the bedroom any longer. She decided to sleep in the guest room that night. 

As she took her first step towards the door, Michael’s forceful grip tightened around her arm. 

“Explain yourself, Chloe! What’s the difference between what you’re doing now and my previous behavior towards you? Didn’t you despise me for acting this way?” 

Chloe couldn’t help but chuckle at his words. 

He had never realized the problem with his actions! 

Now that she was employing the same solution he had used, he couldn’t handle it! 

“Michael, I need to repeat myself one more time. There are no longer any feelings between us. We’ll get a divorce sooner or later. Do you understand?” 

Chloe forcefully pulled her arm away from his grasp and left the bedroom without hesitation. 

It seemed like she wouldn’t be able to finish her work today.

They sat down on a nearby bench. 

“Chloe, do you find the epiphyllum beautiful?” Admas asked.
