Chloe pressed her lips as if understanding why Admas had chosen to share these words with her today. 

On Admas’s birthday, there was no media or paparazzi present. 

It was a simple family gathering, with only the Shawns in attendance. 

While it was considered a simple celebration, the sheer number of Shawns present made it anything but. 

In previous years, Chloe would go all out for Admas’s birthday, meticulously planning her outfit weeks in advance. 

This year, however, she opted for a comfortable yet elegant long dress devoid of any excessive embellishments. 

After all, no matter how she dressed, the Shawns would always. find fault. 

She might as well be herself and focus on her comfort.

understandable they wake up a bit later. Besides, Chloe doesn’t have a job yet, so she doesn’t have much to do at home. She might as well get some extra rest.” Jennifer added, her voice dripping with condescension. 

Victoria scoffed, “Even if you stayed up late, it’s still basic courtesy to greet the guests when they arrive. Do you not know the Shawn family’s etiquette?”
