Frustrated to the brink of a heart attack, Carol finally found her getting beauty treatments leisurely. 

Carol rushed over, only to arrive late anyway. 

Being Monica’s agent felt like the worst luck. 

“Oh, let’s go. They’re packing up. I’ll just have my friend talk to Michael when I get back. Who would dare to offend the Shawn family?” 

Monica waved her hand impatiently. 

It was just a tiny endorsement; it would not be a big deal if it were lost.

Carol turned pale upon reading the message.

Monica, already not in the best of moods due to a poor night’s sleep, was further irritated by Carol’s expression. 

“Back to the company. You’re getting fired!” 

Monica was bewildered and hadn’t had time to ask anything when Carol grabbed her wrist and headed for the elevator. 

In their haste, they bumped into Chloe’s shoulder. 

Monica frowned and turned to look a at the person who had bumped into her with displeasure. 

Seeing it was Chloe, Monica rolled her eyes. 

“So it’s you, always in the way. You really can’t make it anywhere, so annoying even standing by the roadside!” 

She then noticed James next to Chloe. 

James had just returned to the country and had not yet visited Bright Moon Entertainment, so she didn’t recognize the new boss. 

She thought James was handsome, but being seen with someone like Chloe made her look down on him 

“Chloe, you really have no standards. Michael doesn’t want you, and now you’re out with such a man. Aren’t you afraid of catching something?” 

“You should worry about yourself first. Aren’t you about to lose your job? How can you still be so arrogant?” 

James was displeased with the remark 

He thought, “What does it mean by “no standards“? Am I that unattractive? How did such a bully join Bright Moon Entertainment? Is Smith’s judgment that poor?”
