Chapter 319 I Stand by My Wife 

When Michael returned to Paramount Airlines, Ethan was already waiting at his office door. 

Clearly, the news online had reached them. 

“Mr. Shawn, the PR department is doing their best to suppress the trending topic, but it’s been up for a while, so it’s not easy,” the assistant said respectfully. 

Michael glared at Ethan. “What’s the point of having you here if you can’t even suppress a trending topic?” 

Ethan lowered his head, feeling a bit wrong. 

“Get the media on the phone. I’m holding a press conference this afternoon. They can ask me their questions directly,” Michael said in a deep voice. 

Ethan was somewhat surprised. Holding a press conference now would put him directly in the line of fire! The right approach should be to stay silent and wait for the online frenzy to die down on its own. 

After all, the internet had the attention span of a goldfish. No one would remember Chlor in a week or two. 

“So, I’m supposed to watch Chloe get slandered online and do nothing?” Michael glared at Ethan, making him shiver.

Leaving the office, Ethan trembled as if he’d narrowly escaped a disaster. 

To him, Michael’s feelings were too hard to read. He didn’t think Michael was this attentive to his wife before.
