Chapter 327 Gigolo
“They’re a great match, so it’s good for them to spend some time alone together. Let’s not be third wheels, okay?”
Jessica couldn’t help but wonder, “Isn’t Jioleek… already married?
So, she and Quinn…”
Candy, unfazed by Jessica’s confusion, imparted wisdom like an elder, “Sometimes life just happens, dear. You’ll understand when you’re older!”
Jessica, still puzzled, nodded along obediently.
Meanwhile, Chloe and Quinn cruised down the road, the window halfway down.
Quinn seemed hesitant, as if something weighed heavily on his mind.
“Just spit it out. No need for secrets between us,” Chloe urged, emphasizing openness in their relationship.
Quinn hesitated briefly before asking, “If he finds out you spilled Lucy’s secrets, will he treat you badly?”
Chloe chuckled dismissively, “How could he treat me badly? If he really thinks what I did hurt Lucy, he should divorce me and give Lucy her due.”
She seemed almost eager for it.
Quinn fell silent, thinking, “At least she is not swayed about Michael now.”
Suddenly, as they drove forward, a very familiar car approached.
At a red light, both cars stopped almost simultaneously.
Chloe turned to glance at Michael’s distinct profile in the back seat of the car behind them before quickly looking away in disbelief.
She muttered to herself, “Damn, what are the odds!”
Michael had just left Shawn Heavy Industries with Asher, heading to Owen’s place.
He was reviewing some of the day’s contracts.
Asher, seated at the wheel, glanced over and noticed the flashy Porsche beside them.
“Damn, that car is something! Should’ve gotten myself one of those!” Asher joked, hoping to provoke a reaction.
Michael, uninterested, barely acknowledged Asher’s banter with a grunt.
“Looks like there’s a lady driver inside and a guy in the passenger seat. Must be some rich lady keeping a gigolo entertained!” Asher continued, undeterred by Michael’s indifference.
Michael remained uninterested.
Asher, trying to lighten the mood, quipped, “You think I stand a chance? If the rich lady’s hot, count me in!”
Asher’s family wasn’t short on money, yet he always acted like he needed cash, willing to sell his soul for it.
Every time, Michael found it hard to comprehend.
Asher wasn’t a gigolo, but he could pass for one, a real mix–up in the gene pool.
As Chloe turned slightly to peer at Michael, Asher’s eyes widened in disbelief.
“Michael! Michael!”
Michael sighed, clearly irritated. “You mind your own business, Asher?”

He thought, “Could this guy ever shut up?”
“Chloe’s with a gigolo!”
Asher pointed at the Porsche next to them.
Michael’s breath hitched as he immediately looked up, spotting Quinn seated next to her.
As the red light finally turned green, Asher signaled left, but it was clear Chloe intended
