"Baxter really likes you. I've never seen it act this playful with a stranger!"

The young girl looked at Chloe in amazement.

She smiled sweetly, genuinely believing it.

Chloe frowned. At that moment, Michael came up from downstairs.

"I sleep pretty well. I won't harm my wife."
