"His agent?"
James frowned, trying to recall who Christopher's agent was.
"What's the issue with him?"
"I think he's deliberately steering Christopher towards a controversial path, aiming for notoriety rather than genuine popularity."
James raised an eyebrow. "I'll call back to Bright Moon Entertainment and get to the bottom of this."
Chloe nodded. "By the way, who is Christopher's father?"
James glanced at her. "You really want to know?"
"Why all the secrecy? Does he have something to do with me?"
"You guessed it. He does."
Chloe had just said it casually, not expecting it to be true. She thought for a while, recalling the dinner with the Miller family and the two people who didn't share the Miller surname.
"Don't tell me Christopher's father is my cousin's son."
James had always said Chloe was brilliant!
"Is it really?"
James nodded. "Ainsley is your cousin, but she's in her forties. It's not unusual for her to have a son in his early twenties."
Chloe's jaw dropped. The whole thing seemed absurd, yet there was a hint of plausibility to it.
"Your late grandmother had a younger sister who married and had a daughter, your cousin Ainsley."
Ainsley also had a son named Calvin, who was Christopher.
"Then why didn't he come to dinner that day?"
"Didn't Calvin tell you? He had a falling out with his parents and hasn't been home for years. Of course, he wouldn't attend the Miller family gathering."
It all made sense. Chloe couldn't find a single word to refute it.
She couldn't believe it. Was Christopher her nephew?
"Fate is truly a wonderful thing!" James said with a sly grin, looking at Chloe.
"Now do you understand why I asked you to go today?"
Nobody would be more suitable to help Christopher than his aunt!
Chloe was silent for a long while. "Then you'd better replace his agent immediately!"
Chloe initially thought that Christopher had nothing to do with her, so she just mentioned it casually.
Now that she knew he was her nephew, she decided to pay more attention.
"Alright, alright, I'll replace him!"
James didn't object. He didn't know Nolan anyway.
"Isn't that Gideon an artist under Bright Moon Entertainment?"
Chloe thought of the gentle-looking man from earlier today.
"Gideon? No, he's not signed with Bright Moon Entertainment."
Chloe nodded thoughtfully.
Just then, the doorbell rang. Michael went to open the door and was slightly surprised to see who was standing outside.
Chloe never expected her house to be so lively this late at night.
Admas was standing at the door with a cane, and behind him were Maggie and Vicky.
James had been deceiving those two for days, and finally, the truth was revealed today.
Maggie and Vicky were here for James, while Admas was here for Chloe.
He saw his grandson standing at the door, and looking inside, he saw Chloe sitting on the sofa. He immediately smiled and said, "Chloe, it's me!"
