Chapter 0758
Fiona curled her lips as she looked at Miranda with gentleness in her eyes. Through Miranda, she could imagine what Mindy was like in her younger days. The time she had lost with her daughter seemed to be repaid to her through her new granddaughter in a different way.
Fiona and Miranda stayed in the garden for about an hour. Noticing that her grandmother was getting tired, Miranda helped her back to the house to rest.
Fiona called Sam over before going upstairs. She held Miranda’s hand and said, “There’s a room for you upstairs. Sam had furnished it himself. Let him take you up to see it.”
With that, Fiona went to rest, and Aren accompanied her.
Only Miranda and Sam were left in the large living room.
Sam broke the silence to avoid the atmosphere becoming awkward. “Your room is on the left side of the second floor. Shall I show you to it?”
“Okay, thanks.” Miranda followed him upstairs.
Sam explained, “The room is a suite with a balcony. The balcony and windows face the garden and greenhouse, so the view is quite nice.”
