An Understated Dominance (Maria Vittori) novel Chapter 1887

“I’ll have to admit that you’ve got the skills,” Reagan remarked, wielding his spear with an imposing presence.

He continued, “Not many can block my ‘Desert Mirage,’ and it seems you’re one of the few. With time, you might even surpass me.”

In the previous strike, Reagan put in at least 50% of his strength. He sensed that Dustin had only slightly lagged after displaying his power in the direct confrontation earlier.

However, Reagan felt that Dustin still had a long way to go to catch up.

“I expected someone holding the fifth rank on the Astonishing World List to be more impressive. Guess I overestimated you,” Dustin commented, a tinge of disappointment evident in his expression.

“What did you just say?” Reagan shot him a cold glare. He couldn’t fathom how Dustin would dare to underestimate him.

“What? Did you not catch that? Allow me to repeat.” Dustin raised his voice. ” Your strength is pathetic, way weaker than I anticipated!”

Upon hearing this, Reagan instantly boiled with anger. “Kid! Do you have a death wish or something?”

His spear quivered, and his body’s internal energy surged. With a tap of his feet, he transformed into a red streak, charging directly at Dustin.

He pondered, “Who does this guy think he is? How dare he disrespect me? He’s going to pay the price with his life!”

“Sunset Flow!”

Halfway to his target, Reagan swung his spear, unleashing 18 spear auras that swiftly rotated around him.

Ultimately, these 18 spear auras coalesced into a colossal, intense radiance, hurtling toward Dustin. In the wake of the fierce radiance, the air distorted, and the ground bore a deep mark.

Despite Dustin’s earlier dismissive tone, he avoided overconfidence. When confronted with this formidable attack, he promptly mobilized his true energy. He concentrated it in the Celestial Blade and executed his unique killer move.

“Conquest Breaker!” Dustin shouted. He seamlessly blended with the sword, transforming into a black aura, and collided head-on with Reagan’s intense radiant light.

This sword technique didn’t flaunt grandiosity but possessed one crucial attribute-speed. And not just any speed, but an extraordinary swiftness.

In an instant, a collision of two brilliant lights echoed with a thunderous boom, shaking the very earth beneath them. The sky seemed to protest, changing its colors dramatically.

This clash unleashed a terrifying energy wave that swept wildly in all directions. The impact crumbled everything in its path, forcing even spectators like Julius to retreat several steps due to the turbulent waves.

After the intense collision, Dustin was forcefully propelled tens of feet away. Upon landing, he struggled to regain stability, retreating continuously for more than a dozen steps.

Upon closer scrutiny, signs of strain manifested in his grip. The hand that held the sword trembled uncontrollably. It was evident that this potent strike had taken a toll, leaving him at a disadvantage.

“Kid! How many moves do you reckon you can block?” Reagan remained spirited, speaking as he launched another attack on Dustin.

“Let’s go all out!” Dustin gritted his teeth.

He swiftly pulled out a silver needle and stabbed it into the back of his head. As the silver needle vibrated, it stimulated his pressure points.

His momentum surged again. The Celestial Blade in his hand moved faster, and his attacks became more merciless. Energy surged from every part of his body, a relentless and vigorous torrent.

“Relying on the secret Rhys technique won’t narrow the distance between us.

Despite the considerable strength boost, you’re still no match for me,” Reagan commented.

Then, he brandished the Inferno Fury Spear. In the midst of their intense battle, they exchanged defensive moves and unleashed powerful attacks.

Dustin suddenly shouted, “Albert! What are you waiting for? Act now!”

He swung the Celestial Blade to restrict Reagan’s movements as much as possible. Then, a gigantic golden palm shadow appeared in the sky. Suddenly, it pressed onto Reagan’s head.

This palm shadow, akin to a mountain, bore immense weight, exuding a pressure that felt capable of world destruction.

The moment the palm imprint materialized, it unyieldingly locked onto Reagan. No matter how he maneuvered to dodge it, he couldn’t escape its grasp.

Reagan furrowed his brow, sensing the pressure from above, his expression turning serious. Yet, he remained composed.

With one hand gripping the spear to parry Dustin’s assaults and the other swiftly raised, Reagan struck toward the golden palm shadow in the sky.

His intention was clear-to confront the attacks of two grandmasters head- on with his strength.
