An Understated Dominance (Maria Vittori) novel Chapter 2139

When Krel saw Dustin catch the cauldron, he thought he had lost his chance for revenge. But to his surprise, Dustin wanted to make another bet and even gave up his advantage.

The man clearly had a death wish!

"Alright, so it's settled. Who goes first, you or me?" Dustin joked with a laugh.

"We go first, of course!" Before Krel could speak, Jimmy chimed in, "You brought up the bet. Letting us go first isn't too much to ask, right?"

Since cheating wasn't allowed, Krel only had to lift and throw the 50-thousand-pound cauldron again, which would surely defeat Dustin.

"Okay, you guys go first," Dustin agreed without a fight. It didn't matter to him who went first.

"Let's sign a deadly duel agreement first. Anyone who backs out is a coward!" Jimmy sneered.

"No problem." Dustin nodded.

Soon, the deadly duel agreement was brought over.

Krel signed it first, then tossed the pen to Dustin with an evil smile. "Your turn, punk."

As Dustin picked up the pen to sign, Melissa tried to stop him. "Dustin, maybe you should reconsider? Krel is very strong and has a lot of backing. You're sure to lose against him. It's not worth risking your life."

Signing the deadly duel agreement meant that if defeated, one's fate was no longer in their own hands. She felt it was too risky for a moment of pride.

"Ms. Yondels, thanks for your concern, but I might not lose. In fact, you should worry about Krel. I'm afraid he won't be able to handle it," Dustin said with a calm smile, signing the agreement confidently.

"Dustin—"

Melissa tried to say more but was interrupted by Jimmy, "Enough, Melissa. Why care about such an ungrateful guy? Just enjoy the show."
