She heard everything...

Massimo slowly walked towards her.

"Anamika..."

His voice was dry and merely a whisper.

She didn't say anything, her face was expressionless and he couldn't read what's going on in her mind.

"Anamika please listen to me... I was... I am..."

He stuttered for the first time in his life. No words were coming out from his mouth.

He took a deep breath and cupped her face and said...

"I am sorry, I didn't tell you this but I was scared that I will loose you. I thought you will hate me after knowing that who really I am... I never wanted to break your trust and it wasn't my intent to hurt you, baby please trust me... I will never hurt you... you know I love you, right?.."

Massimo said everything in one breath.

She wasn't saying anything.

"I am sorry baby for not telling you that I am a mafia king. don't leave me baby, please don't hate me, say something Anamika, please..."

His voice broke.

She was looking into his eyes intensely, her face was dangerously calm and when she said those words, his world started spinning.

"I ALREADY KNOW..."

She said in a calm voice.

And another thunder roared in the sky, this time with more intensity And it started raining.

He didn't understand what she was saying, he was totally confused.

"What do you already know?..."

She smirked.

"I already know that you are a mafia king Massimo..."

She stated and his eyes nearly popped out from their sockets, his heart started beating rapidly.

"You know?... How... Since when... Who told you...how did you find out?..."

He threw questions at her confusingly and everyone else were also looking at her with shocked face.

"From the beginning, from day one... When we met at the club... I already knew who you really were...

Why do you think I was scared of you when we spent our first night together. why do you think I left without saying anything the next morning. why do you think I gave in so easily to you and didn't faught back... Because I knew that I can't win against you...

I knew how powerful you are from the beginning, I haven't build my own empire just like that Massimo, I have seen and dealt with this dark world very closely and I know how it works...

I dig all the history of the firms before investing in them, before giving them my money and you thought I will give you my everything just like that, without knowing anything about you...

I am not a fool Massimo, I know how to play games and I have learnt it in a very hard way...

She finished and tears started flowing from her eyes mixing with the raindrops, he was stunned after listening her.

It was all making sense to him now... Why he always saw fear in her eyes, she hid it very well but he was good to read it... Why she stopped him that day saying don't touch me when you're angry because she already knew about his inner beast. why she give in so easily, why she said in a mocking tone that he is good with knifes. why she never questioned him about his gun, she didn't struggle to get free when he kidnapped her, she knew she couldn't escape... It was all making sense to him now...

He gently wiped her tears with his thumb and chuckled.

"Damn... chang and Nick were right, you are a dangerous woman tigress... I am in love with a dangerous woman..."

They were all wet and their clothes were dripping from standing in the rain.

He kneeled in front of her and everyone's mouth dropped on the floor along with Anamika. Massimo never kneeled in front of anyone, he made others to do that so it was really shocking for everyone to see him like that.

He took out a small box from his pocket and opened it, it was a beautiful diamond ring. Anamika's eyes widened at his actions.

"I know you're a mystery tigress and I am willing to solve this mystery for my whole life... I love you, I want you to become my queen and rule beside me. I want you to make you mine, forever... Marry me anamika..."

Anamika looked at his love filled eyes and her lips turned into beautiful smile.

"Yes, I will marry you Massimo..."

She said and tears of happiness started flowing from her eyes.

He took her hand and placed the ring on her finger, she smiled looking at him and he kissed her hand.

Everyone was looking at them happily, Specially his mother and father.

He stood up and they both kissed. Melting under the rain with their love, trust and obsession...
