Chapter 3: Back Before the End of the World

"Are you listening to me, Bai Meiyue?"

In confusion, Bai Meiyue opened her eyes and looked around the cafe inside, where she was sitting, before turning her gaze to look at the man in front of her.

"Jiang Ziming?" What was this bastard doing here? Didn't she kill him in the third year of the apocalypse? Why was he alive and sitting in front of her?

"Bai Meiyue, what are you looking at me for?! Hurry up and sign this document. What will we do if you waste time like this? Director Peng is not a patient man!" Jiang Zeming frowned before scolding Bai Meiyue fiercely. If someone didn't know better, they would have thought that Bai Meiyue owed something to this bastard.

Director Peng? Bai Meiyue blinked her eyes and then looked at Jiang Zeming closely. The next second she was stunned because she realised that this was the Jiang Zeming she had killed. To be precise, this assistant of hers was Jiang Zeming before the apocalypse.

This man, together with her half-sister and fiancee, had schemed against her until she was spat on by the entire country. Ah, of course, her father and dear stepmother also helped them.

It was her stepmother who drugged her, and it was her father who sent her to the bed of a man.
