“Oh, then have some soup.” He handed her the bowl of soup. “Adrian said you can take some medicine since you’re feeling unwell. It won’t affect the baby.”

“Hmm.” She took a sip of the soup, and then answered Mike’s earlier question, “I wanted to close the door before I fell asleep on the couch last night, but I was too tired to get up.”
