Baby With The Billionaire novel Chapter 9

After that heartbreaking moment for me, I quickly did my work and went straight home where I could cry without anyone seeing or hearing. When I was finished crying over my sad life. I had to go and buy groceries so I left the house, my mind in an unknown state, what the hell am I going to do? I knew there is no way in hell will I ever sleep with him again but I also knew that he already paid me some of the money.

I could terminate the contract.

I pause.

Of course, I couldn't if I am already pregnant based on what I see happening to my body. I really need to buy a test to confirm if I was.

I sigh, what the hell was I thinking when I made that deal?

A better life for Josh.

Everything I ever did was to make my brother have a better life, I want him to be happy even if it cost me my own happiness. I no longer have to worry about the money problem because made sure that was all taken care of but now I have other things, like telling Josh what I did.

My phone beeped. I took it out of my pocket and read the text message.

I'm picking you up tonight at 8, wear something sexy.

I rolled my eyes and quickly typed. Sorry I can't, I have plans.

It was short and simple, he need not know about my non-existent plan was about. I want him to know that I'll no longer be at his beck and call when he wants sex. I will tell him that since I'm pregnant there is no need for us to continue having sex.

I'll see how he takes that.

I will not be his call girl.

Stopping at the pharmacy on my home, I picked up the first pregnancy test I saw. When I reached my apartment quickly placed the grocery bags on the kitchen counter and made my way to the bathroom. I quickly peed on the stick to wait three minutes for the result.

If the pregnancy test says that I'm pregnant then I'd be the best mom I could, I wouldn't make my baby want anything especially love. I'd be like my mother; loving, caring and kind. I'd go to the parks and take longs walks, go to the beach, teach him or her to swim and dance.

I looked at the bars, it confirmed what I had already known. Jade Brown, you will be having the Billionaire's baby. I sighed, the test just made everything clear now. I'm going to a mother, going to have a baby. I'm going to have a baby for a billionaire who called me a prostitute.

Great, just great.

"Jade, Jade. Are you here?" I jumped and the pregnancy text fell right out of my hands in the towel.

"Shit," I muttered. "Yes, I'm here. I'll be out in a minute." I closed my eyes then pushed my hands in the towel and took out the test. I quickly wrapped the test in a towel paper and placed it in my side so Josh wouldn't see. I washed my hands and then exit the bathroom.

"Hey, what's up?"

"Go put on your best dress."

"Why?"

"We're going out, there is a new gallery that is going to be opening tonight and I have some tickets so we're going."

"Are we now?" I asked with my brows raised.

"Yes, we are. You're going to do this for me." It's a pity he doesn't know that everything I do is for him.

"Okay, I will go with you and afterwards we go out to dinner, seafood maybe and Cassie is coming."

"Deal" he smiled.

"I'm going to go call Cassie." I walked passed my brother and went into the kitchen with my cell in my hands. I dialled her number and looked through the fridge, being pregnant is not easy. I'm hungry around the clock.

"Hey, how are you?"

"I'm good, you?" She noticed my voice immediately.

"I'm bored, at home doing nothing."

"Then I called the right time. Josh wants to go to a gallery that's opening tonight and I want you to come with us afterwards we go for seafood."

"Yes," she says in a joyous tone "I was dying for someone to come save me."

"Well consider yourself saved."

She laughs, "But what about the billionaire, not going to his place tonight?"

"Well, no. In fact, I'm never going there again. We do need to talk."

"Girl, what happened?"

"Put on your best dress and I'll tell you all about it, tonight."

"Okay, fine. I can't wait."

"We're picking you up at around 6:30 so be ready."

"I'm always ready." I laughed.

"No, you're not." Cassie was your real girly girl if you tell her to be there at 8 she's there at 8:30. I laughed and hung up the phone.

By 6:00 pm I was in my purple knee lent dress with silver heels. My hair was done up with a roll. Had silver earrings and a necklace. My makeup was done to perfection. I looked and the mirror at myself and smiled.
