Babysitting the Billionaire's Twin novel Chapter 10

Jaxon's Point of View

As I drove to where my house is, I noticed that the small gate was opened, so I decided to park outside first and then enter.

I waited for the engine to cool before turning it off and stepping out of the car, I then smiled at the thought of seeing the twins with their nanny in a maid costume.

When I closed the gate, I saw Autumn falling on the floor hard, someone strangling her.

My eyes went wide, who the hell got in here?!

I panicked and ran, it was a good thing that the wall that the door is placed on had to see through the glass in it. I burst open the door and saw Spring strangling Autumn.

“H-help...” Autumn called out before blacking out, my brows furrowed and it angered me more when I saw blood flowing from Autumn's head.

The twins were crying and Spring still continued to strangle her as she looked at me. I didn't have a choice, I pushed her away from Autumn.

Spring stayed still on the spot where I pushed her, her hands trembling and when I looked her in the eye, she wasn't sane, she was still in her bloodlust mode.

But why Autumn? What the hell happened here?

I gently laid Autumn's head on my lap, blood-stained my pants, but I didn't care, I need her treated.

I took my phone out and dialed Luke's number, it rang three times until he finally answered it, “Come to my house, it's an emergency, quick!”

Luke lived near us, so it would be great

My heart started to beat faster than normal, I can't lose her. She's still young... I just can't.

I glared at Spring who just came back to her senses, she looked back at me with terror in her eyes as she noticed Autumn's unconscious body.

Luke came bursting in, shock replaced the curiosity in his eyes and he then stopped on the door, not moving

“Take the children, quick,” I ordered him, and immediately, Luke sped off to where my car is parked.

Before I left the room, Spring called me out, “Jaxon, I-I'm sorry, I didn't—”

“Shut up and leave my house,” I looked back and glared at her, “I despise you.”

And I left her alone, with a lot of mixed feelings like hate, worry, fear, and more.

I went to the backseat and placed Autumn inside, the kids were on the corner, a bit calmed down, but still in shock.

I sighed and faced Luke, “Drive the car.”

“Wait, what, sir?” He stared at me, but I didn't talk again, which made him start the car, pressed on the gas, and sped off.

* * *

I've been waiting for about half an hour and the doctor still didn't leave the room. He told me to wait for him to come out and well... I'm an impatient man most of the time.

A chair away from me is look and the twins, the twins finally calmed down upon seeing a friendly face which is Luke's. But how the heck did Spring got inside my house? Does she have a key? I don't know.

“Sir.” Luke looked at me with worry.

I just smiled at him, “Jaxon is fine when we're outside of work.”

He cleared his throat and scratched the back of his head, “Umm...yes, Si— Jaxon. What exactly happened to, Miss Autumn?”

I looked away from him and stared at my hands, “Strangled by the woman who was at my house earlier, I don't why she did that either.”

“The woman...” It took him a few seconds to realize, “Is she the CEO of the Flower Company thing?”

I nodded my head and patted the twins as I thought about reasons why Spring did that, she almost killed Autumn, to be honest.

“Then what was the CEO of the Flower Company doing at your place?”

“I don't know, she was probably looking for me.”

“Then—”

My voice slowly raised on every word I said, “She was supposed to marry me okay? Our parents wanted that, she was stubborn, she didn't want me because she had someone else and I don't care for I'm not looking for love!”

I breathed heavily and just realized that I've told Luke all the things that weren't supposed to leak.

He only bowed his head and whispered an apology, “I'm sorry, sir.”

“N-no... it's fine, I'm just stressed, that's all.” I then looked away, “Also don't tell anyone about that.” I then literally facepalmed myself, ugh, what the heck?

Luke then burst out laughing, “I know you're worried about Autumn, but I guess you still have that funny side on you, sir.”

I smiled at his words, “Will you stop calling me, 'Sir' and 'Sir Jaxon'?”

“I just can't, sir.” He then chuckled and started playing with the kids as he talked, “I'm younger than you, sir.”

I rolled my eyes at him, “Shut up, you're a friend of mine and age doesn't matter so quit it.”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever.” He grinned and carried the twins, becoming obsessed with their cheeks.

Then suddenly, the door to Autumn's room opened and the doctor came out.

“Hello, are you one—” The doctor started to ask which I answered immediately even though his sentence wasn't finished yet.

“No, I am her boss and she lives with me.”

The doctor nodded, “She's still unconscious, but she's all good now. The back of her head bled out of a really small wound that's why it isn't really a big deal. She'd wake up soon, give her 3 days here to be monitored and let her rest. If you'll excuse me.” The doctor quickly explained and then left when I nodded.

“Let's get inside,” I told Luke and opened the door for him to enter with my children.
