Mikayla learned more about the current situation of Ansoft Enterprise and realized that Betty had other matters to attend to. 

She stood up and said, “Betty, don’t worry. I will always support you. I’ll try to gather funds for you. 

Betty smiled and said, “Thank you for your kindness. I am well aware of Ansoft Enterprise’s current situation. No one would dare to invest in my company. 

Mikayla understood what Betty meant immediately. However, she still hoped to help Betty 

out. 

After leaving Ansoft Enterprise, Mikayla received a call from Celeste. It turned out that Celeste had also seen the news about Ansoft Enterprise 

“How could Johnny do such a thing? I never knew he was such a despicable person! 

“How dare he engage in such dirty business in the guise of charity? The police should 

arrest and interrogate him,” Celeste exclaimed indignantly. 

Mikayla replied, “Johnny has already left Ansoft Enterprise. 

“With the spread of the scandal, it would be hard for him to turn things around, even if he tries to open another liquor company. I believe this is his retribution” 

“What kind of retribution is this? He still has lots of money. Apart from having a bad reputation, he has suffered no losses at all!” Celeste was very upset. 

Then, Celeste asked Mikayla about Betty’s current situation. Mikayla shared what she knew 

with her. 

“How do you plan to help Betty? Will Mocato Investments still invest in Ansoft Enterprise?” 

Celeste asked. 

“I guess not,” Mikayla said as she told Celeste about her falling out with Taylor. “Even without that incident, Taylor won’t invest in her company considering the current 

circumstances.” 

Mikayla only had 100 million on hand. That sum of money was only enough to solve the issue temporarily, but it wouldn’t be enough if Betty wanted to expand the company.

Moreover, the investment would be meaningless if Ansoft Enterprise’s reputation could not 

be restored. 

“Don’t stress out over this matter. Even if you can’t help Betty, she won’t blame you,” Celeste said. 

Then, after chatting for a while, Mikayla asked, “Celeste, how’s your time in Lumina? Nothing unusual happened, right?” 

Celeste said, “Of course, nothing unusual happened. Nolan is busy with various meetings every day and always returns to the hotel very late. 

“But whenever he has time, he’ll accompany me to go sightseeing. Yesterday, we had dinner with a classmate whom he hadn’t seen in a long time.” 

“Was it a female classmate?” Mikayla asked. 

“Yes,” Celeste said. “She and Nolan were college classmates, and she happened to be at Lumina for an exchange program.” 

Mikayla thought that the female classmate was probably Nolan’s first love. 

“Is she pretty?” Mikayla, curious, asked. “Did you notice anything unusual between them during dinner?”
