She suddenly gasped and I straightened my posture and leaned on the table wanting to listen to her.

"Oo! Did I tell you what happened today?"

I shook my head but knowing she couldn't see me, I said, "Nah, please enlighten me." She laughed knowing we use this phrase everytime.

"I cheated."

I stopped smiling as soon as the words left her mouth.

"I was so disappointed in myself and I know you are too. But babe, just know I couldn't resist it."

What about our marriage? Our vows? Did nothing meant to her?

"W-why?" My voice was shaky and broken and my fists were in a tight clench.

This was the last straw that broke me, "Satisfied?! Why, did I not satisfy you enough? Did I not mean anything to you!? Did it all not matter to you?! You threw our vows away! You threw everything away!!" I shouted feeling more anger rising in me.

"Kezr, what are you saying?" She spoke in a quiet voice obviously scared of my outburst.

"You are asking me what happened?! I'll tell you what happened! You. Threw. Our. Marriage away!!" I picked up her favorite vase that she had kept in my office and threw it at the wall. I saw it shatter in front of me. Just like my life right now. All shattered.

"Kez-" she went to speak but I cut her off.

"No! You tell me! Why!.... Why'd you do it? Was I not enough? Did I do something? I can fix it baby. Don't do this to me. Please. Don't do this to me." At this point I was practically on the ground clutching my heart as the fucker was beating really fast and clenching and unclenching causing it all to feel so surreal.

"What did I do? Even I am confused. Why did I throw our marriage away? Why are you sorry? I don't understand."

I took a deep breath to calm my nerves, "Why are you acting so dumb? You told me you cheated."

"Well, I didn't know you were too much of a nerd and hated cheaters. So what if I cheated? I know I am guilty, you don't need to tell me that too."

I was about to lose the last bit in me when I realized what she said. nerd? Where the fuck did 'nerd' come in here?
