I opened my mouth to say how rude he was but closed it knowing well enough, he isn't going to change his personality just over a buisness deal. Ouch.
He explained "You will be treated like any other employee, will be payed like every other employee, and act like every other employee.
Pay? My st job ever! Yay! And suddenly It didn't feel so bad. Something about having my own money made me happy.
He begin to walk away and I sat down on the bed with my head in my hands, thinking how could a blessing be dawned upon me just like that?
I saw him turning around and I stood up.
He said, "Rule 6: Nobody and I mean absolutely No-fucking-body, should know about our situation, you tell someone and you are fired.....or worse"
Worse? What could be worse than getting fired?
Oh my gee! He means he is gonna punch me with those big muscly arms, oh no!
Not wanting to get punched I replied with a quick 'okay'.
"Rule 7: You will address me as Sir or Mr.Kezr, Understand?"
"Yes sir"
"Tomorrow I will take you to the office, as you don't know the directions and I would like for you to be there early. But, after that, You will take a bus or a cab to the office." I didn't have any problem with travelling in public transport because I used to go to high school in public transports.
Sometimes Gerald would make me walk to school and give the car to Stacy saying that they would rather spend their fuel on their biological daughter.
So I just nodded and said, "Yes"
His eyes slightly widened but he was close to recover them,"Be ready by 8 tomorrow." And with that he left my room.
I was really happy and grateful that I would finally be working and getting my first ever pay.
I always wanted to work in a bakery or even in a small business but my plans all ended a long time ago. I just wanted to get out of the house make friends at a work place but Gerald never let me work because according to him. Women can't work.
And the fact that Stephanie and Stacy just supported him never settled right with me. He said their job was to satisfy their husband, whatever that means. I mean you married me...you should be satisfied.
Or their place was in the kitchen.
I guess not anymore.
After marriage, my life has changed....for better or for worse? I don't know that, but one thing I know is that, Iam atleast somewhat happy because back at Jones, I was never happy.
Everything is going well except for Kezr but I have patience and I will make him get used to me.
He didn't look like he wanted to offer me the assistant position. I saw hesitance in his blue forest eyes.
