Be Your Own Spring novel Chapter 20

He wore a long grey coat with black turtle neck, black pants and boots with his briefcase in his

hands.

I apologize God, but I can't help the unholy thoughts running through my mind right now.

His blue eyes made contact with my green ones and I saw a smirk linger on his face, shoot! Iam gawking like an idiot.

Can you be any more obvious Ella!?

Yeah I can go and-

Rhetorical question Ella, rhetorical.

He looked at me for a brief second before walking around the counter. As he does so he walks past me and I almost lose my balance and fall on my booty in front of him but thankfully I gripped the counter hard enough.

The reason being his cologne, it was sandal wood and mist. It was really nice.

Can I drown in it?

Cause of death: Drowning in my hot boss slash husband's hot cologne.

Here Iam almost falling for him....off the stool.

And he doesn't even spare a glance.

Why don't I have the same effect on him as he does on me?

Maybe because you're just a buisness deal to him. Ouch.

"Mornin',"

"Morning Kezr" I looked over and she passed him only a coffee.

"Morning" I say and he just nodded without looking at me and took a sip of his coffee while checking his wrist watch.

I realized he had no breakfast.

What about his breakfast?

I opened my mouth to ask, but when I saw Elissa shaking her head at me I refrained from doing so.

Well, Iam not gonna say anything but he is weird and out of my league....sigh

We ate breakfast and left.

I came over to the garage and saw many, many cars. Different kinds of cars.

Rolls Royce, Porsche, Audi R8 (my dream car), SUVs, Mercedes Benz, Bugatti, Volkswagen and Lamborghini.

Yes, I know my way with the cars. I love sport cars, they are my absolute favourite.

He went towards the key holder and took the Audi R8 key and threw it at a man I recognize as blondie.

The R8 had golden lining on it's wheels and doors. I was in love. It was love at first sight.

The blondie came towards me while Iam still drooling over the car.
