"Sir, your coffee."
I didn't say anything and she asks "Will that be all?"
She's acting really professional for her first time.
I looked at her and she was looking at the view.
I looked at her outfit, letting my eyes roam around her body. When my eyes fixated upon a pair of.....sneakers?
"What are those?"
She looked down at her shoes while rocking back and forth from her heel.
She burst out laughing and I just looked at her like a madman.
"Did I crack a joke? if so please enlighten me." Her laughter died down noticing my serious expression and annoyed tone.
"S-sorry sir, it's just that I remembered a meme."
I blinked at her, "You mean to tell me, if we are in the meeting room and somebody is serious, you will laugh because you recalled a meme?"
"Sorry sir". She looked down.
I didn't want to say that she cannot wear sneakers here instead of heels (although, I hate those. Aria always complains about her feet whenever we come from a buisness dinner or gala), because it's her choice and she looks somewhat formal and that is what we need in a work environment.
"Leave now."
With that I dismissed her and she left the room not before leaving behind her roses and jasmine scent.
How Am I supposed to work in this environment?
Sighing I put a hand over my beard and massaged it.
Let's see how Miss black head will do for her first day.
"I want these documents faxed, and make sure to re-arrange them after. I don't want them all fucked up." Like my life.
"Yes sir."
Sitting in my seat I looked over to my to-do list.
Fax documents.
Re arrange them.
Take out the records over the 10 years.
Re-arrange them.
Photo-copy the manuscript.
Hand the faxed documents to some Sarah on the 18th floor.
Print he contract.
I have been going back and forth to work today. It is really tiring. But somehow I have the lastest bit of energy to complete my to-do list.
