I splashed my face with water and headed straight to my cabin.
I stuffed my ears with my headphones putting the music on high not wanting the negative thoughts to work up in my mind.
It's 8pm. I got home in a cab but Kezr stayed saying he would be late today. I literally feel sorry for him.
I completed all my tasks on the to-do list and was done by 7.
I came home, showered and saw Elissa had left a note on the fridge saying she made pasta.
I didn't eat that right away, as I was waiting for Kezr to return home, so we can eat together.
Right now, Iam watching some really dramatic K-drama that has me starting my Niagara Falls. As Iam wiping my tears off, I heard the front door close.
I stood up and took a vase from the table. I know it's a burglar....I just know it.
I opened the lights to catch the burglar red handed.
I jumped from beside the wall in front of the hallway path so that the burglar will have to go through me first. I raised the vase and was about to hit that son of a baloney, but then I saw black braids, blue forest eyes holding a coat in one hand, and a briefcase in the other.
He looked at me with his eyes widened. And then at my raised hand with the vase. Then back at me. Then at the vase. Then he blinked and pushed my hand down.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
I sheepishly smiled at him and laughed nervously, "Well, forgive me for thinking there was a burglar in the house."
He raised his eyebrows and had a somewhat amused look in his eyes.
He walked past me and said "You know, I have guards and an alarm system? Before any fucker even enters the house, I get a notification before hand."
He turned around, looked at me for a brief second while pouring water from the glass jug into a cup. "But it's good to know I have my own guard in the house too."
I looked down and blushed.
Was that flirting? Is that how a person flirts?
I heard the fridge door open and looked up.
He turned to me over his shoulder. "You didn't eat yours?" He took out the plates and placed them in the microwave.
"Uh-yeah. I was thinking maybe we could-....eat together...?" I wanted it to be a statement but it came out as a question.
He stopped his movement and after a minute he looked at me with his jaw clenched and eyes slightly darkened.
