Hylda stopped returning her calls.

No news came.

She just had to tough it out till his anger subsided.

Kayleigh clenched her jaw and forced out a smile

‘Hello, Miss Woods.” 

She whirled around when she heard a man’s voice behind her. 

Her face fell when she saw it wasn’t whom she hoped it would be. 

More than one member of her party recognised the vice president of Revency. 

The lascivious investor abandoned Kayleigh and went up to Sean, hand outstretched. ‘Mr Santoro, what a pleasure!! 

Sean inclined his head at the investor. 

He shook the man’s hand before saying with a smile, ‘I hope I’m not intruding. I just need to speak with Miss Woods for a moment. Would you mind?” 

‘Not at all. Please, go ahead.‘ The investor even nudged Kayleigh towards Sean. 

Sean threw a hand over Kayleigh’s shoulders and half–carried her away. 

The two C–list actresses from MS watched them with ill–concealed jealousy. 

The diva was so lucky. 

She had the backing of the M Group. 

And now she was hooking up with the second most powerful man at Revency. 

Kayleigh would have rebuked them if she knew what they were thinking.
