Anya’s POV:
I had never spent a penny of my father’s money ever since I was a kid, nor felt any father in love from him. What’s more, I only returned to X city at the age of 12 after my mother died.
“Anya, did I hear it right? You are going to kick me, your father, out?”
I looked at him coldly. “I am not kicking you out. It’s that you are not fit to be in the Walter Group anymore!”
Nowadays, the Walter Group is crammed with Mia’s all kinds of relatives. These people all came here to slack off. The Walter Group would go down sooner or later if I didn’t get rid of them.
“Good, very good! What a dutiful daughter! What a misfortune for my family! I have raised you for nothing. How could I have given birth to… to such an ungrateful person like you!” My father said as he pounded the desk angrily.
“Dad, for so many years, you have never really raised me. I have never spent a penny of your money. So please don’t say that you raised me or anything like that ever again.” I said coldly.
My words made him speechless for a moment.
Also, I just want to fulfill my grandfather’s dying wish to let the Walter Group into the world's top 500 businesses. I have no intention of kicking you out
Suddenly, I heard a chuckle behind me and turned to see who it was, only to find that it was Evan.
He sneered at her, “Quite ambitious, Miss Walter. Still confidence is one thing, but arrogance is another. Are you sure you can turn the Walter Group into a fortunate 500 companies? What if you can’t?”
Evan propped his arm on the desk, his face full of scorn. His face was so handsome that no one could resist his charm. However, when matched with the look on his face right now, it was simply too irritating!
I heaved a deep sigh, suppressing my anger. “Together, we will succeed in anything. I believe that the Walter Group can be flourishing in a short time!”
Evan said, “Since Miss Walter is so confident, let’s sign a bet-on agreement. Within three years, if you can turn the Walter Group into a fortunate 500 company, then my shares will be distributed as a benefit to everyone. Yet, if you can’t, then buy agreement you will quit the Walter Group unconditionally!”
Indignant with the man, I gritted my teeth.
His offer was quite vicious.
The Walter Group had been languishing over the years. Getting into the world's top 500 was my final goal. But that would easily cost me a decade or more…
Doing it in just three years was almost impossible!
Evan’s POV:
Moments ago, when Frank looked at me for help, I didn’t say anything. Because the money I put into the Walter Group was just too little for me to pay any attention to. I didn’t want to waste my time and energy on this matter.
As for the reason why I didn’t oppose Anya to becoming a Chairman, because I think it was fun. For me, this was nothing but just a game.
And it would be more interesting if Anya is the Chairman. By then, I would be able to give her some really good lessons.
Hearing my words, Frank was thrilled, his eyes full of admiration. “Yeah, Mr Carter is right. Running such a big company is not as easy as you think. If you are willing to sign the agreement, I will allow you to replace me. But first thing first if you are fail in three years, you are going to hand over all your shares in the Walter Group.”
I slightly raised my eyes and looked at Anya with a faint smile. “So? Do you have the guts to sign it?”
“Three years are not enough to…”
