Chapter 88 

“Do you want to join me?” Hunter asked Lilac, as he walked toward the lake that was created under the waterfall. 

The question itself was a temptation for Lilac, because the look on his face right now didn’t have any indication that he was trying to tease her. He looked very serious and solemn. 

“But, it will be cold…” Lilac said, she didn’t even realize why she was whispering like this, but apparently, her throat was tightened because of the sight of him. The scenery before her eyes with Hunter as the main point was something that came out of the picture. 

“It will not. Promise.” Hunter kept walking and now he had dipped himself into the water and half of his b*dy had submerged. He turned around and looked at Lilac, as if waiting for her, inviting her to come with him. “I will help you to clean you up.” 

Lilac was hesitated for a while, but there was something inside of her that urged her to come with Hunter. The sky had turned dark, but this place looked so dreamy with the warm light from the moon above them. 

Hunter didn’t hurry her to come with him, but he simply waited for her to come to him. His eyes were very intense, as if he could see straight into her soul and this left Lilac speechless. She wanted to know what was in his mind at this moment and how he looked at her. 

He had told her countless time, how much he loved her and he proved it over and over again that he was different from Aiden, yet Lilae felt not enough. She had this tendency to seek for validation, whether she had done everything right or not.
