Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 217

Betrayal At The Altar By Dolores Delia Chapter 217 Bankruptcy

However, Mary was not worried about Rachel because she knew that Rachel had never been a weak and submissive person.

Nonetheless…

“But I still think we should make the Smith family bankrupt!” Mary looked at Rachel with a hint of persistence in her eyes.

She gritted her teeth in hatred when she thought of those ungrateful people from the Smith family.

If Rachel hadn’t appeared three years ago, the Smith family wouldn’t have existed in Seaxas.

It was no exaggeration to say that without Rachel back then, there would be no upstart Smith family in Seaxas!

“One should never forget those who helped them in difficult times.” However, these heartless people were not only ungrateful, but they also wanted to go against Rachel!

Rachel could not help but laugh. “It’s not worth it to gain a pyrrhic victory.” Moreover, there was still something she had yet to figure out.

Before she figured it out, she would let the Smith family be free for a while. Mary glanced at the clock and raised her eyebrows. Her eyes flickered with a sly light. “It’s time for afternoon tea. Shall we go?”

“Let’s go.” Rachel said, “The greatest benefit of being a boss is that you have the final say when you go to and from work!”

This was the biggest thought Rachel had since she became the CEO of the Johnson Corporation.

The two of them took the elevator down to the underground parking lot.

Unexpectedly, as soon as they walked out of the elevator, Eddie, who was dressed in a suit, approached them.

He nodded politely and respectfully at Mary. Then, he looked at Rachel and said humbly, “Miss Grey, Mr. Jones has been waiting for you.”

Rachel was slightly stunned. “He has been waiting for me?”

Eddie’s smiled faintly. “Mr. Jones is worried about you. He has been waiting

for you here since the incident happened.”
