Chapter 271 Terrifying Desire
In the dimly lit carriage, two figures were tangled together.
Rachel wanted to push him away, but the man grabbed her wrist tightly and pulled her closer to the corner of the car.
The man was so domineering that he did not give Rachel any chance to
escape.
Rachel looked up at the man in front of her.
Their eyes met without warning.
The man’s dark eyes were undisguisedly exposed to Rachel’s eyes, filled with a terrifying desire as if he wanted to eat Rachel alive.
Rachel’s eyelashes fluttered in panic.
Rachel’s heart seemed to have been gripped by something neither heavy nor light. Her heart beat uncontrollably like a drum beating.
The feeling of suffocation made one dizzy. In the ambiguous atmosphere, rationality was gradually lost. Rachel followed the man’s kiss like a stranded fish, trying to survive by all means.
Just before Rachel’s rationality was exhausted, David let go of her.
Rachel panted heavily. Her fair cheeks blushed.
David wrapped his arms tightly around Rachel’s lean waist and looked down at the woman next to him. There was a faint smile on his lips. David’s voice was low and slow, especially seductive. “Rae, you’re not completely ready.”
The man’s warm breath swept past Rachel’s hair and entered her ears, causing Rachel’s fingertips to curl tightly.
Rachel’s body stiffened. Rachel pursed her lips, and she said in a slightly hoarse voice, “I’m sorry…”
Rachel admitted that she had feelings for David, but she could not trust him completely and give herself to him.
Rachel even felt a lingering fear when she saw how well David treated her.
Rachel was afraid of losing David and even more afraid of being abandoned. Ever since she was young, Rachel had experienced too many losses. She had been abandoned by the people closest to her, so she kept her guard up
against everyone.
“I’m the one who should be apologizing.” David gently stroked Rachel’s soft hair with his palm and said unhurriedly, “I was too impatient.”
Rachel’s eyes flashed slightly. “Actually, you can criticize me. It’s only fair…”
“No,” David interrupted her. “I understand your concerns and your inner vulnerability and sensitivity. You can have reservations about me. After all, it’s my thing to gain your trust.”
David looked down at the woman in his arms and saw the faint blush on her face. A smile flashed across David’s eyes. “I want you to feel loved, not by just saying it.

Rachel’s breathing slowed down slightly. Her excitement was like a warm current that poured into her heart. Gradually, she felt a bitter apology.
Rachel hooked her arms around the man’s neck and buried her head in his neck. She greedily breathed in the breath that made her feel at ease.

Please update the chapters and complete the novel...
Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
