Chapter 273 Going On The Rampage 

Turning to look at David, Rachel took off her gloves expressionlessly. “I feel like I’ve been tricked.” 

There was a hint of disappointment in her tone. 

She had thought that this thing would be a rare treasure. 

However, no matter how she looked at it now, she felt that she had suffered from a loss. 

Although Rachel had been living a luxurious life in the Johnson family, she was also a businesswoman, who valued the benefits in her hands. 

If this queen’s crown could not bring her the expected value and pleasant surprise, then it would be a loss.

“It’s not a loss.” David looked at the queen’s crown on the table with his deep eyes. 

Rachel’s eyes lit up. “What have you found?”

“Are you sure?” Rachel raised her eyebrows and looked at David inquisitively. 

“According to my understanding of that person, he wouldn’t have been interested in this queen’s crown for no reason.” There was an unfathomable deep insight in David’s eyes. 

That person had deliberately raised the price to take revenge. He had been shamed into anger, too. 

Rachel put on her gloves and studied the crown again. She still did not find anything. “I’m not looking for the secret anymore. It has made my head hurt.” 

She removed her gloves, took the water glass from the table, and casually took a sip of water. 

David smiled and reached out to touch her soft hair. His eyes were filled with reluctance. “I might have to be away for a few days.”

“I’m not sure,” David said. “But I’ll be back as soon as I can.” 

Rachel nodded. “Then be careful.” 

“Don’t worry.” David leaned over and kissed her lips. 

When he was about to get up and leave, Rachel grabbed his tie and pressed her soft lips against his thin lips again. 

After the kiss, the corners of Rachel’s mouth were red and swollen. She 

leaned against David’s chest and adjusted her breathing. “I’ll wait for you to come back.” 

David held the back of her head with his palm, kissed her forehead, and stood up to leave. “Go to bed early. Good night.” 

Eddie had been waiting downstairs for a long time. 

After bending down and getting into the car, David signaled the driver to start the car. 

Eddie studied the expression on David’s face. After pondering for a moment, Eddie reported, “Mr. Jones, we just received a piece of news that Hell has left Seaxas.”
