Betrayal At The Altar By Dolores Delia Chapter 283 Look At The Mirror
Rachel quietly retracted her gaze and turned to look at the store manager. “If everyone judges a book by its cover like you, I think this mall in Times Square will close down in no time.”
Her words were filled with an overbearing aura.
“What do you mean by judging a book by its cover?” The store manager shook off Rachel’s hand fiercely and looked at the latter with a mocking expression. “It’s obvious that you don’t have much money, yet you’re trying to intimidate me. Why don’t you take a good look at yourself in the mirror?”
At the moment, the Smith family was a powerful family in Seaxas.
News of the marriage arrangement between the Cruise family and the Smith. family had spread like wildfire. Everyone knew that Olivia was the future mistress of the Smith family.
Whether it was the Smith family, Jane Smith, or Louis’s fiancée, Olivia, they were not someone anyone could afford to offend.
The store manager was used to seeing all kinds of rich people in her shop. She could tell at once if they were from the nobility.
Looking at Rachel, who was not wearing anything valuable, the store manager was certain that she was just a poor church mouse pretending to be wealthy.
She thought of Rachel as a gold digger who used her good looks to ensnare rich men.
She did not seem like she was from a wealthy family.
Rachel saw the contempt and disdain on the store manager’s face.
Her face was covered in a layer of frost. Her almond–shaped eyes narrowed slightly, and a sharp cold light flashed across them.
Jane had been enraged ever since she saw Rachel behaving intimately with the billionaire at the auction. She was waiting for a chance to teach Rachel a lesson.
Seeing that the store manager was mocking Rachel, she concurred, “Rachel, don’t think that you can do anything you wish because you’re now the mistress of some rich man. If he can spend a lot of money for you today, he
can do the same for other women in the future. If I were you, I wouldn’t want to squander all my hard–earned money just to keep up with appearances.”
As Jane spoke, everyone looked at Rachel with disdain and disgust, as if she was a piece of trash.
Sensing everyone’s gaze on Rachel, Jane gloated gleefully.
After waiting for Jane to finish saying what she wanted to say, Olivia stepped forward to stop her. “Jane, don’t say any further…”
“What’s wrong?” Jane’s arrogance now knew no limits. She refused to heed
Olivia’s advice.
She turned to look at the store manager Vivian and said earnestly, “Miss, on account that we’ve met a few times, I’ll give you a piece of advice. It’s best not to sell your clothes to her. You’re lowering your shop’s status by selling them to her.”

Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
