Betrayal At The Altar By Dolores Delia Chapter 305 Looks Like I Underestimated You
At the dock.
The black Rolls–Royce Phantom drove into the office area. The door opened, and Rachel put her hand on David’s hand and leaned slightly to get out of the
car.
She stood in front of the car and looked around calmly.
There was a variety of cars lined up in the parking lot by the entrance of the five–story gray office building, which did not have a fancy décor.
However, Rachel discovered that the engines of these cars had been modified, which greatly increased the instantaneous speed of the cars.
She squinted slightly when she saw the sign above the office building.
That was the logo of Black Rock Corporation.
This corporation appeared in Seaxas ten years ago. At that time, no one took this company seriously. However, many transportation companies had to pay a painful price as a result of their underestimation.
The rapid development of Black Rock Corporation exceeded everyone’s expectations. Even a powerful and esteemed businessman like Old Mr. Johnson was a little surprised.
Over the years, competitors had been secretly investigating the profile of the founder of the Black Rock Corporation but to no avail.
The only information they got was his gender as a male.
However, Rachel did not expect the Black Rock Corporation to be David’s
business.
David held her soft hand and walked towards the office building.
Initially, he thought that Rachel would be nervous. To his surprise, she seemed to be especially calm, with a touch of indifference.
He could not help but chuckle.
“What are you laughing at?” Rachel instinctively asked.
David glanced at her and replied, “I thought you’d be nervous. Looks like I underestimated you.”
Rachel raised her eyebrows slightly and her moist lips curled into a charming
smile. “What’s there to be afraid of with you around?”
It was a simple sentence, but it made David’s expression change slightly. He could not help but tighten his grip on her hand.
After entering the office building, Rachel’s presence quickly attracted the
attention of others.
Well, they had never seen anyone of the opposite sex around David all these years. Some people even secretly speculated that their boss David probably had a special preference.
However, the news of David bringing a woman to the dock spread like wildfire. Finally, Jimmy heard about it.
“A woman?!” When Jimmy heard his subordinate’s words, a disdainful smile appeared on his face. “I know very well what kind of person David is. I’m afraid he’s not fated to be with a woman in this life.”
As he spoke, he pulled up the real–time surveillance camera footage on the computer.
In the footage displayed on the screen, David walked into the elevator holding Rachel’s hand.
Jimmy instantly tensed up and widened his eyes in disbelief.
After watching the footage over and over again, he finally came to a shocking conclusion.
David was in love with a woman!
He was in a daze for a while before taking out his phone and calling Landon. “Landon, David is seeing a woman now!”
