Chapter 337
He could vaguely feel it was a little strenuous for the woman to stand on her tiptoes. He bent down slightly and reached out his palm naturally to land on her slender waist. “Take your time. There’s no hurry.”
The moment the palm landed, Rachel’s body instantly stiffened.
Coincidentally, at this moment, the tie was done.
She straightened the tie and let out a small sigh of relief. “Done.”
As soon as she finished speaking, she bent down and tried to crawl out of David’s
arms.
David seemed to have expected this. Just as she was about to escape, he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and pressed his chest tightly against her back.
“I’m sorry that I made you unhappy.” The man’s deep voice sounded beside her
ear.
Rachel’s stiff voice gradually relaxed. She slowly turned around and looked at him directly. “David, you’re not the one who should apologize.”
Her expression was calm. However, her almond–shaped eyes were filled with unconcealable guilt.
“You’ve already done enough for me. I’m sorry that I can’t give you the corresponding response.”
When she said the last few words, her cold voice choked up.
David sensed her sensitivity and vulnerability. He carefully held her in his arms and caressed her back like he was comforting an injured animal. “I was too anxious and greedy.”
“I’m sorry…” Rachel bit her lips and suppressed the tears in her
eyes.
“I can accept your apology, but can you change your method?” David suddenly asked.
Rachel straightened up slightly, blinked, and looked at him in confusion. “How?”
David looked at her ignorant expression, and the urge to bully her intensified.
His well–defined fingers held her chin as the pad of his thumb caressed her soft lips. His gaze on her gradually heated up. “You know I only accept substantive apologies.”
Before coming, Rachel was mentally prepared.
However, she did not expect things to come to this. The reservedness in her bones
restricted her again.
She bit her lips as if she was stuck in a predicament.
David sighed helplessly. “I’m probably the only one who will accommodate you like this.”
With that, he leaned down and kissed her on the lips.
Rachel was stunned for a moment. Then, her stiff body slowly relaxed.
In a moment of confusion, her body was suddenly raised, and then she fell heavily onto the sofa.
Before she could react, David pressed down on her again.
When she looked up, she was caught off guard and met the man’s deep eyes.

Please update the chapters and complete the novel...
Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
