Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 344

Chapter 344

When they had finished eating, they each went back to their houses.

Rachel had just returned to the apartment when there was a knock on the door.

She opened the door and saw Eddie standing at the door.

“Miss Grey,” Eddie called out respectfully.

Rachel nodded slightly. Her gaze swept past Eddie and landed on the two men in black standing behind him.

They were carrying a huge box in their hands, but Rachel couldn’t tell what it was.

Eddie noticed Rachel’s scrutinizing gaze and hurriedly explained, “Here are the movies that Mr. Jones found for you, including those that were released and those that were not.”

Surprise flashed across Rachel’s eyes.

She just said she didn’t know what good movies were out there right now last night when they were watching a movie. She didn’t expect that David would remember it.

What was even more unexpected was that he would personally arrange for someone to find movies for her.

“Put it next door,” Rachel said.

When she led them to the door, she looked at the password lock in front of her and awkwardly realized that she did not know the password to unlock it.

At this moment, Eddie, standing beside her, reminded her, “Miss Grey, why don’t you try your birthday?”

Rachel turned to look at him.

Unexpectedly, she entered her birthday, and the door was really unlocked.

When the door was unlocked, Rachel’s heart could not help but ripple.

She pursed her lips and tried hard to suppress the smile on her lips.

Eddie led his men to put the box in the right place and adjusted the equipment. He said respectfully, “Miss Grey, there’s no problem with the equipment. It can be used at any time.”

“Thank you,” Rachel said.

Eddie said, “Miss Grey, you’re welcome. It’s our pleasure to work for you.”

The men in black were dumbstruck when they saw Eddie’s obsequious look.

One had to know that Mr. Brook was a capable Special Assistant of Mr. Jones’s. Anyone who saw him would show some respect for him.
