Chapter 466
Rachel bit her lip and looked at him pitifully. “I really can’t hold on much longer…”
David looked down at her.
Her clear round eyes were covered with a layer of wet mist, looking very innocent. The corners of her slightly upturned eyes curved up sensuously.
David’s eyes darkened as a terrifying thought flashed across his mind. He leaned over and kissed her on the lips. “Then let’s go somewhere else.”
Rachel was baffled.
Before she could react, the world spun around her as her face slammed hard against the pillow.
The lovers entwined in each other’s embrace, lost in a world of their own.
Exhausted after David’s relentless torment, Rachel allowed him to carry her into the bathroom.
The next morning, Rachel received a call from Tom. “Rae–Rae, your mother’s ashes have been found.
Rachel made a brief sound to express acknowledgment before asking, “When are we going to put them to rest?”
“Your grandfather wants to hear your opinion,” Tom said. “Do you want to leave them in the same cemetery, or do you want to move them to another place?”
If someone could steal Sophia’s ashes from the cemetery, it only meant that it was not a safe place.
There was no guarantee that the same thing would not happen if they kept her ashes in the same cemetery.
Rachel felt it was best to place them in another cemetery.
Pursing her lips, Rachel’s round eyes were filled with a hint of contemplation. “Let’s move to another place.”
“Okay”
After hanging up, Mrs. Brown brought some soup to Rachel.
Rachel picked up the spoon. Her sore wrist trembled uncontrollably.
“Oh, Miss Grey, your wrist is injured,” Mrs. Brown exclaimed in a low voice.
“Huh?” Rachel was stunned for a moment. When she noticed how anxious Mrs. Brown looked, she started to flush.
She cleared her throat and laughed dryly. “It’s nothing. I accidentally twisted it.”
At this moment, David, who just walked out of the study, suddenly said, “It’s nothing. She’ll be all right. I’ll massage her hand later.”
Hearing this, Mrs. Brown sighed. “You young people are always so careless. If you don’t pay attention to small injuries, there may be repercussions when you are older. I have ointment that I brought back from my hometown in my room. It’s the best treatment for sprains and injuries. I’ll bring it to you now.”
“Mrs. Brown, don’t bother. I’m really fine,” Rachel explained awkwardly.
She now understood what it meant when words got stuck in her throat.
Just then, David let out a guffaw.
Rachel glared at him. She picked up a napkin and threw it at David’s face. “How dare you laugh at me!”
“All right, I won’t laugh anymore. It’s all my fault.” Still smiling, David looked at her affectionately.

Please update the chapters and complete the novel...
Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
