The waiter had a standard smile on his face, but what he said was enough to make Jane fly into a rage. “Yes, you three have been blacklisted by our restaurant. From now on, ‘Lansen Restaurant‘ will never admit you!”

Jane blushed with anger. Pointing at the waiter, she said, “I will complain about you!”

“Please do as you wish.” The waiter still wore a standard smile and answered without any fear. It seemed that he was accustomed to such a situation.

Knowing that her threat hadn’t worked, Jane gnashed her teeth angrily and stared at the waiter in front of her.

The waiter’s indifferent attitude and gestures attracted Louis’s attention.

“There are more than a hundred western–style and fench–style restaurants in Seaxas, of which Lansen Restaurant is the most famous. The guests come in an endless stream. The fact that this restaurant has been famous in Seaxas for more than ten years is enough to prove that the boss of this restaurant has abundant money and mysterious political background,” he thought.

Thinking about this, Louis restrained his anger. But his eyebrows still frowned with irritation. “We didn’t violate any of the rules of your restaurant. I wonder why you blacklisted me?” he asked.

“Our boss said that if his wife sees you, she would be in a bad mood,” the waiter answered.

Louis was speechless.

Olivia and Jane were even more confused.

Olivia thought, “When did we offend the boss’s wife?

“So far, we don’t even know who the boss is!”

Olivia restrained the feeling of being humiliated and pretended to be gentle and decent. “I wonder if it is convenient for you to tell me your proprietress’s name,” she asked.

“No way am I going to tell you!” said the waiter plausibly. Then he stepped back and shut the door with a bang,
