Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 504

Chapter 504

His words successfully attracted Thomas’s attention. He grabbed Lucas’s arm and asked. “Who is the other party?”

“You’ll have to ask Rae-Rae about that.” As Lucas spoke, the phone in his pocket. rang. He patted Thomas’s shoulder and turned away.

Thomas frowned slightly and looked down at the concert tickets in his hand. His fingers tightened.

Did he miss her after all?

After Rachel made an excuse to avoid Thomas, she casually found a remote corner and sat down.

She took out her phone and texted David, (Gentle Reminder: you’ve been ignoring your little cutie for an hour.]

After sending it out, she held her chin and quietly waited for David’s message.

Then Mary appeared from behind. “What are you thinking about? Why are you so engrossed?”

Rachel turned around in a daze. When she saw Mary, the coldness between her eyebrows disappeared a little. “Where have you been? I’ve been looking for you all the time.”

Hearing her, Mary’s eyes flickered slightly. She raised her hand and tidied the hair at her temples. “Of course, I’m hiding aside to watch the show.”

“What kind of show?” Rachel asked.

Mary smiled wickedly. “I watched you entangled with Thomas, of course.”

Just as Rachel was about to explain, Mary quickly extended her hand to stop her from speaking. “I know your attitude, but Thomas clearly doesn’t think so. The way he looks at you can melt even a block of ice.”

Hearing her analogy, Rachel couldn’t help but laugh. “We used to play together when we were kids. It’s not as exaggerated as you say.”
