Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 525

Chapter 525

Rachel reached out to stroke the horse’s mane and nodded casually.

“To avoid people saying I’m bullying you, how about I let you have half a lap?” Brenda said.

The seemingly modest words were both an affirmation of her riding skills and a belittlement of Rachel.

After all, it would not be honorable if Rachel won because of this.

Hearing this, Rachel’s face finally showed a trace of emotion. “Since it’s a competition, we have to be fair and just. I still appreciate your kindness, Miss. Duncan.”

As Rachel spoke, she squeezed the horse’s belly with her legs and-urged it toward the starting point.

Brenda watched Rachel leave, and she quietly murmured to herself, “Go ahead and be arrogant while you can. You’ll regret it and cry!”

Although the prize for this match was the Akhal-Teke horse that Dan cared about the most, he was powerless to change anything at this point.

Since he could not change anything, he might as well join.

Dan ran forward excitedly and took the initiative to be the referee. “Are the two of you ready?”

Rachel nodded.

Brenda glanced at the indifferent Rachel. A hint of disdain flickered in her eyes. “Let’s begin.”

Dan nodded and blew the whistle in his hand.

In the next second, Rachel and Brenda spurred their horses forward like arrows launched from a bowstring, galloping away with incredible speed.

Olivia and her assistant looked at each other. Olivia said in a low voice, “Have done what I asked you to do?”

you

The assistant nodded slightly. “Don’t worry. I guarantee that no one will notice. When it happens, everybody will think it’s an accident.”

That was an untamed horse. Who could guarantee that no accidents would happen during the race?

Upon hearing her assistant’s words, Olivia looked at her meaningfully. “Accidents are never predictable, right?”
