Betrayal At The Altar By Dolores Delia Chapter 53
“Louis…” Seeing Louis coming forward, Olivia hurriedly snuggled into his arms as if seizing a life–saving straw. Her body trembled uncontrollably, and she said with a slight tremor, “I was just joking with Rachel. I didn’t expect her to take it seriously…”
Tears continuously rolled down her cheeks as Olivia complained to Louis.
Nearly feeling heartbroken when seeing Olivia’s tearful face, Louis secretly gritted his teeth and asked coldly, “Rachel Grey, you must have heard it. Olivia said she was joking. Is it necessary for you to hit her so hard?”
“Joking?” Rachel’s lips curved into a sarcastic smile, and she rebutted, “Who would take others‘ life as a joke? Oh, I forgot that Olivia is the best person in the world for you. Even if she farts, you will think it smells like perfume!”
“You!” Annoyed and frustrated by Rachel’s mockery, Louis stared at her fiercely and added, “I order you to apologize to Olivia immediately!”
“Louis Smith, are you an idiot? If she didn’t provoke me, would I have fought back?” Rachel darted a cold stare at Louis and said. Then, suddenly, a faint sneer crossed her delicate face, and she added, “Well, I can apologize, but she has to kneel and listen!”
Hearing Rachel’s request, Olivia promptly burrowed into Louis‘ arms in fear. Feeling the woman trembling in his arms, Louis was distressed. He wrapped his arms around Olivia’s waist and hugged Olivia tighter.
“Rachel Grey!” Louis then huffed, staring at Rachel with disgust and hatred. “What makes you so evil now?”
“Shut up! You know nothing about me at all!” Rachel looked impassively at Louis with a piercing coldness in her eyes. “An eye for an eye has always been my motto!”
Louis scowled at Rachel, and his eyes darkened as he roared, “You’re being irrational!” Rachel curled up the corners of her mouth indifferently. She darted a sharp gaze at Olivia before saying, “Olivia Cruise, you are a public figure, and you ought to behave yourself. Have you ever considered what would happen if the public knew your indifferent attitude toward others‘ lives? You have just returned to this country; it is a critical moment for you to build your reputation now. If what happened tonight is exposed, your acting career would end, right?”
Rachel’s steely and cold voice came slowly and firmly, and every word pounded on Olivia’s head, making her heart heavier.
She had intended to teach Rachel a lesson and secure a leading position over her, but she didn’t expect Rachel to strike her back. Moreover, Olivia didn’t bargain on giving Rachel ammunition.
At that moment, Olivia’s heart was overflowing with bitterness.
Suddenly, someone broke the silence. “Miss Grey, Mr. Jones is waiting for you,” said Eddie, who exited the car and walked straight to Rachel with a polite and respectful smile.

Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
