Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 541

Chapter 541

Subconsciously, Rachel lifted her hand and wanted to open it.

Unexpectedly, Mary reacted quickly and slapped Rachel’s hand away. “Surprises are usually only revealed at the end. You can’t open it now.”

Hearing Mary’s words, Rachel could vaguely feel an ominous feeling in her heart. Rachel looked up at Mary and asked. “Are you sure it’s a surprise?”

It was not that Rachel doubted Mary’s intentions, but the surprises that Mary had prepared in the past had always caught her off guard.

“Don’t worry, this is something that I have carefully chosen just for you! It will definitely let you obtain victory!” Mary vowed while looking confident.

When Rachel left the studio with the box in her hands, Mary walked her to the door.

Mary immediately noticed David, who was leaning against the front of the car. Turning to look at Rachel, a faint and ambiguous smile flashed across Mary’s eyes as she said, “Wow, this exclusively chosen man is quite tall.”

Rachel was just about to speak when her phone suddenly rang.

It was a call from Lucas.

Rachel picked up the phone and heard Lucas’s cold and lazy voice. “Everything has been settled.”

“Do you need me to tell you what to do next?” Rachel raised her eyebrows slightly and asked. A glint flickered in the depths of Rachel’s almond-shaped eyes, making her gaze seems cold and sharp.

Lucas chuckled lightly and said, “Just wait and see.”

After hanging up, Rachel took a cab back to Sandalwood Hills.

Rachel walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower. When Rachel walked into the cloakroom, she saw the box that Mary had given her. Biting her lips, Rachel hesitated for a long moment as she stared at the box. In the end, Rachel could not suppress her curiosity and opened the box.

Rachel’s eyebrows twitched when she saw what was inside the box.

“I knew it!

“That girl Mary! All of the surprises that Mary had prepared will usually end up as a scare!” Rachel thought to herself.
