Betrayal At The Altar
Chapter 582
A black Rolls-Royce slowly pulled to a stop at the end of the red carpet.
The car door opened, and a pair of straight and slender legs entered people’s sight. They looked up and saw a well-defined and exquisite face. It was as if his deep eyes were a masterpiece of a great artist.
The man was wearing a black suit. The well-tailored design accentuated his tall and straight figure.
There was an aura around him that everyone present couldn’t ignore. His noble aura made him look like a king looking down at the whole world, emitting a soul-stirring pressure.
Even though he was looking around calmly at this moment, his almost indifferent eyes were enough to make everyone present gasp.
Under everyone’s gaze, the man extended a hand into the car.
Then, a slender hand was placed on his palm and caught everyone’s attention.
Everyone gasped when Rachel appeared.
Everything around her seemed to come to a standstill. One second, two seconds….
The moment they saw Rachel in a gown, everyone thought of all the beautiful words they had learned in their lives, but they still found it impossible to describe her soul-stirring beauty.
Someone in the crowd pressed the shutter button of the camera.
The short and dazzling light from the flash made everyone snap back to their senses.
Rachel subconsciously looked up at that person.
The man was wearing a pair of thick-rimmed black-framed glasses. His appearance was ordinary, and it was obvious that he was an honest person.
When he met Rachel’s gaze, he blushed and pursed his lips awkwardly, caught off guard.
Rachel didn’t look like a good-looking but empty-headed babe in the woods.
Her beauty was wild and eye-catching. It was breathtaking. Even a casual glance of hers was enough to make everyone turn their attention to her.
The seemingly unceasing sounds of pressing shutter keys were like a slap to Olivia’s face.
Just now, she took the initiative to express her goodwill, but these people totally ignored her. At this moment, however, they were taking photos of Rachel non-stop.
This group of people had gone too far!
No matter how hard Olivia tried to control herself, her face still revealed a hint of shame and anger that she could not hide.
She secretly gritted her teeth. When she turned around, she saw Louis staring at Rachel in a daze as if he had lost his soul.
A strong sense of danger swept through Olivia’s heart. She took a deep breath and adjusted her emotions. “Louis, the wind is rising. Let’s go in quickly.”
Louis suddenly came back to his senses. He looked away reluctantly and replied absent-mindedly, “Alright, let’s go.”
Due to the commotion caused by Lynn Wright a while ago, everyone knew well what was going on with Olivia these days. As a result, when everyone present saw her, they could not help but discuss softly.
“I didn’t expect her to have the guts to come.”
“She’s the godd aughter of the eldest daughter of the Jones family now. Her status is much nobler than
ours.”
“Didn’t you see? There are many people trying to curry favor with her.”
After Olivia walked in, many young socialites welcomed her and asked about her well-being.
However, Olivia knew very well how sincere these people in front of her were.
When she was in trouble, these people weren’t even willing to call her. And now, they all seemed very hospitable toward her.
Since these women liked to act like her good friends, Olivia was happy to put on a little show.
