The car door opened and David got out first, followed by Rachel.

However, David did not hold Rachel’s hand this time. Instead, he walked forward with one hand in his pocket.

Looking at his back as he left, Rachel knew that he was deliberately leaving enough space for her to have a talk with Vulture.

Vulture glanced at David’s leaving figure and then walked to Rachel’s side. “You two quarreled?”

“Do I?” Suddenly meeting Rachel’s gaze, Vulture looked down guiltily.

Rachel did not say anything. She just raised her head in the direction of the garden. “Let’s talk over there.”

“Why do we have to be so secretive? We can’t talk in front of your man?” Vulture lowered his head and toyed with the lighter in his fingers.

However, Rachel did not seem to hear him. She took the lead and walked toward the garden.

Vulture snorted softly but followed obediently.

Blackhawk walked side by side with him. The two of them clearly sensed that although the surroundings looked quiet, there were many people hiding in the corners.

However, when everyone woke up. the little girl only left a farewell letter.

There were only a few simple words summarizing the days they had spent together on the letter. After that, she disappeared without a trace as if she had never appeared.

After an unknown period of time, Vulture suppressed the thousands of thoughts in his heart and chuckled. “Alright, you’re the boss. Since you’ve decided, I won’t say anything else. But, let me remind you that the situation inside the Jones family is far worse than you think. You’d better be fully prepared.”

“What’s there to be afraid of?” Blackhawk said. “Don’t underestimate our Twelve. If anyone has to be afraid, it will never be her. At most, we’ll clear the way for her!”.

Although he said that in a joking tone, it could still show their unconditional support for Rachel. Rachel looked up at the two people in front of her with a gentle smile.

After parting ways with Rachel, Vulture and Blackhawk returned to their respective guest rooms.
