Betrayal At The Altar By Dolores Delia Chapter 73
The car started and brushed past Louis’s car.
Louis saw Rachel’s delicate face from the corner of his
through the car window slowly going up.
eyes
Rachel did not notice Louis‘ gaze as she faced the other man with a bright and charming smile.
Seeing Rachel’s gaze on that man, Louis stared blankly at the Rolls–Royce passing by.
“Could it be that Rachel left Smith Group and flitted to another company?
“Otherwise, why is she here?”
Louis was engrossed in his thoughts without hearing his assistant’s words. “Mr. Smith?”
It was not until the assistant spoke again that Louis collected his thoughts and asked in a deep voice, “Has Mr. Justin of the Johnson Corporation arrived?”
“Not yet, but Mr. Justin promised to arrive on time.”
“Let’s go to Best Fry first,” Louis responded.
After that, the car fell silent. Rachel’s beautiful smiling face haunted Louis. After being lost in his thoughts for a moment, Louis broke the silence by saying, “Find out what Rachel Grey is doing these days.”
The assistant paused for seconds before replying, “Yes, sir.”
At the same time, Rachel looked at David in surprise. Then, her bright smile turned into a meaningful one. “The development of the project is confidential. Are you too nosy?”
“Am I?” David fixed his eyes on Rachel’s smiling face and answered with his eyes deeper, “The old district in South Valley cannot be renovated significantly. Merely building residential buildings there
is not worth a billion at all. So I guess you have other plans. I just hope that you can do me a favor on account of our personal relationship so that I can take the opportunity to sell the surrounding buildings.”
Rachel narrowed her smiling eyes and said teasingly, “So you want to solve the problem by pulling strings?”
David reached out and ran his long and slender hand through Rachel’s soft hair. He then held the back of her head, slowly leaned down, and said in a husky voice with his warm breath against Rachel’s ear, “So do you agree?”
David’s lips curved into a faint smile that accentuated his mesmerizing face.
Rachel’s curly eyelashes fluttered slightly and she cleared her throat. “Don’t you think we are too close now?”
“We are more than common friends, aren’t we?” David asked.
Rachel pushed David’s hand away and explained seriously, “David Jones, don’t forget that you’re only pursuing me now. We are not in a relationship now.”

Its ridiculouse to think it is normal to love bomb someone for couple of days and then they are in love. They dont know each other at all. So annoying to read. And whats more, to kiss by force is romantic?? How the hell is that romantic?? Cant understand its logic....
