Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 76

Betrayal At The Altar By Dolores Delia Chapter 76

“David!” Rachel hammered his chest in anger.

Unexpectedly, David grabbed her hand and said deeply, “Rae–Rae, I really love you.”

Facing this sudden confession, Rachel was at a loss. She pulled her hand back uncomfortably and tidied her messy hair.

However, David did not give up. He stretched out his arm and pulled her into his arms.

David buried his face in her neck and took a deep breath. His thin lips pressed against her ear as he said unhurriedly, “I know that my love surprised you, but I’m also the one who was frightened. I thought I wouldn’t love you as much as I did today, but I thought the same yesterday.”

Rachel stood rooted to the ground, her eyes wide with unconcealable shock.

David looked at the stunned Rachel with patience. He gently caressed her cheek with his fingertips and rubbed her soft lips with his fingertips. His Adam’s apple bobbed up and down. Finally, he could not help but lean down and gently touch the softest part of her body that he had always yearned for.

The man’s cold aura instantly enveloped Rachel, and she gradually regained her senses.

When she looked up, she suddenly met David’s burning and deep gaze.

As if she had been scalded, she hurriedly averted her eyes from him and pushed the man away.

Unexpectedly, David’s arm wrapped around her waist tightly, making it impossible for Rachel to break free.

David lowered his head and looked at her. The redness on Rachel’s face disturbed his mind a little, and his eyes became darker and

deeper. “Rae–Rae, I regret it. I don’t want to wait anymore.”
