Betrayal At The Altar (Rachel and David) novel Chapter 84

Betrayal At The Altar By Dolores Delia Chapter 84

When Mrs. Brown saw Rachel, she immediately noticed her slightly swollen mouth. An ambiguous smile flashed across her eyes as she greeted respectfully, “Miss Grey.”

Rachel noticed the smile on her face. She revealed an awkward but polite smile and quickly left.

She walked into the backyard and realized that the size of this villa was not inferior to the mansion of the Johnson family.

There were countless strange flowers and plants in the garden, which was well–appointed with all kinds of modern furniture.

And there was only one place for such interior finishings, the Sandalwood Hills.

The Sandalwood Hills was not inferior to the mansion of the Johnson family. So far, everyone knew of the existence of the Sandalwood Hills, but no one knew its owner.

Rachel did not expect this person to be David Jones.

“Miss Grey.” Mrs. Brown showed up behind Rachel quietly. She had a gentle smile on her face. “Mr. Jones had something on and left at the last minute. Before he left, he specially instructed me to bring you around.”

Rachel nodded slightly. “Thanks. I hope it won’t cause you much trouble.”

Hearing her words, Mrs. Brown was stunned for a moment. Then, the smile on her face became even wider.

To be honest, ever since David brought Rachel back last night, she had also realized that David treated Rachel differently. However, she could not help but be prejudiced against Rachel’s beautiful face.

At this moment, Rachel’s polite words and actions left Mrs. Brown believing she was different from those women who tried to climb

into David’s bed.

She also gradually understood why David cared so much about this Miss Grey.

Mrs. Brown walked in front and led the way for Rachel. From time to time, she would introduce the facilities in the garden, as well as the flowers and trees.

Seeing that she was so familiar with the surroundings, Rachel asked casually, “Mrs. Brown, have you been working here for a long time?”
