“Mr. King, you've been quiet all throughout, don't you have something to say?" She asked, still smiling at Alex. But she didn't get any response from him nor did he act like he heard her.

“I'm curious about one thing Mr. King? Is it true that you have no girlfriend? I mean you're handsome, wealthy and powerful yet you still haven't gotten a girlfriend. What do you think about looking out for one and it just turns out that I'm also sing-"

“Miss Gale, I've seen the files are what your sister promised us. However, we will have to go through these documents thoroughly and will get back to Gale Groups.” Derek who could no longer withstand hearing her questions closed the file and quickly interrupted her.

After getting a confirmation nod from Alex, he brought out a small jewelry box and slide it over the table towards the woman. “This is a gift for Miss Gale." Derek told her, referring to her older sister but it seemed like she had misunderstood Derek's words and thought that the gift was for her.

“Oh my, how can you be so generous Mr. King." She clapped her hands together before picking up the jewelry box.

“I didn't know Mr. King is this considerate-" she was cut off mid-sentence when Alex stood up from his seat after everything was done. He made his way to the entrance along with Derek.

“Ah, wait for me Mr. King! Let us leave together!" Upon seeing that Alex was already leaving, she quickly got up from her seat as well while grabbing her black fur coat and purse before rushing to follow Alex.
