Bride To Be Not Me (Janice and Simon) novel Chapter 204

An ex-boyfriend publicly discrediting his ex-girlfriend—how utterly disgraceful. To foreign spectators, such behavior was beneath contempt.

Celine turned to Heidi with a stern expression. "Miss, please remain quiet and watch the competition."

Heidi's face flushed, either from anger or embarrassment. "I'm Shirley Olson! How dare you treat me like this?"

Simon chimed in, "Do you not even trust Ms. Olson's words?"

If Janice's award wasn't revoked, she would only rise to higher ranks, and she'd look down on him forever. Simon couldn't bear the thought of Janice becoming more powerful and successful.

"Miss, come with me," Celine said, shaking her head in exasperation before signaling the staff to proceed with the awards ceremony.

Fuming, Heidi followed Celine backstage, with Simon trailing behind, ready to support her claims.

Once the door closed, Celine spoke in Cruznian, though she had a slight accent. "You claim to be Ms. Shirley Olson?"

Heidi hesitated for a brief moment but had no choice but to keep up the act. "Yes! Don't you recognize this brooch?"

Celine looked at the brooch and chuckled. "This is more than just a souvenir. Each one is unique."

"Of course! That's why it belongs to me! I'm Shirley Olson!" Heidi declared confidently.

Celine took the brooch from her and examined it closely. "Are you unaware that each brooch is numbered?"

Heidi froze. She had no idea!

Shirley never mentioned this on WhatsApp!

Celine continued, "Each number corresponds to the award-winning seamstress at the time. Additionally, when the brooches were crafted, the winners would leave their fingerprints on them. It's a good thing I happen to have records of the winners' fingerprints with me."
