In the CEO’s office of Prosper Stitch Group’s Product Division, janker had just answered Simon’s call a minute ago when Edward entered the room. 

Out of the corner of his eyes, Edward noticed the small shoe rack by the door and frowned slightly. Without hesitation, he picked up a pair of women’s crochet shoes and tossed 

them into the trash cans. 

His action startled Janice, who instinctively stood up and forgot to put down the crochet needles in her hand. One accidentally pricked the back of her finger. 

Aclang followed. 

“Mr. Moore, please don’t throw those” 

Edward sat down and said, “I’ve already asked for a few pairs of crochet shoes made by Prosper Stich Group to be delivered. They’ll be here soon.” 

The shoes he threw were made by Refined Threads Co, which he found to be an eyesore.

Besides, the products from Prosper stitch Group were in no way inferior to Defined Threads Co’s. 

Janice quickly realized that Edward had a strong sense of territoriality. He could not tolerate products from other companies in Prosper Stitch Group’s workspace–unless it was in a conference room where other companies” products were analyzed. 

But what she didn’t know was after she joined Prosper Stich Group, Edward’s traktoriality had grown ewn stronger. 

Janice didn’t care much about the shoes, and since the new ones were coming, she smiled Lightly and said, “Thank you, Mr. Moore.” 

Edward lit a cigarette. “Finished your call?

She did receive a call trout an unfamilar number just moments ago. But she hadn’t beard much before Edward walked in. 

Janice didn’t really care about the call, though. “It’s almost time to clock out. If you’re free, Mr. Moore, let me treat you to dinner?” 

He licked the ash ett his cigarette while glancing at his work messages. “Why is it your treat?” 

Janice had a knack for reading people. Someone like Edward, who was both in a position of power and from a family of officials, likely appreciated a bit of flattery. Praising the bass didn’t seem demeaning to her at all 

With a smile, she said, “To thank you for looking after me these past few weeks and helping me settle into Prosper Stitch Group. Since we’re heading to Gallandia tomorrow, where we’ll be having foreign food for days, why don’t we have some local food first? 

Edward repbed, “Planning to invite Matida?” 

She was momentarily taken aback. “I can call her now to Invite her.“ 

Histone was indifferent as he said, “She has to work late. No need to invite her.” 

After speaking, he extinguished his cigarette and stood up. “Our flight tomorrow is in the early morning. Pack your things and stay at a hotel near the airport tonight.” 

She didn’t have much to pack, and her belongings barely filled a suitcase. The office had all the toiletries she needed, and as for clothes, she hadn’t taken any from the villa. They could be purchased as needed. 

As they left the office, Janice said, “Wait, Mr. Moore. I haven’t clocked out yel.” 

Unexpectedly, a hand near the clock in machine pressed a button, and the machine was powered off,
